Happily Married~

Alhamdulillah.

Saturday, 15 May 2021 (3 Syawal 1442).

I am now a wife to Muhammad Luqman Hisamuddin <3

A new chapter, new responsibility, endless love.

“May these vows and this marriage be blessed. May this marriage be full of laughter, our every day a day in paradise. May this marriage be a sign of compassion, a seal of happiness here and hereafter."

A very simple nikah, during Movement Control Order (MCO) 3.0, following the SOP that has been set by JAIS; only 10 people should be presented during Akad nikah.

Luqman's family member had to get police approval to cross the state since they were from Nilai.

A few months ago, we kinda planned everything; nikah was supposed to be on 8th May (26th Ramadhan), and the wedding ceremony was on 16th May (4th Syawal).

Umi and Ayah (parent-in-law) can only stay in Malaysia for three weeks, which includes their quarantine after landed in Malaysia (Ayah worked in Iran for the time being), that's why we planned to settle nikah & walimah within three weeks. However, MCO came, so we decided to postpone the walimah and proceed with nikah after raya.

Alhamdulillah, everything worked well despite MCO. Thank you Ummi and Abah for your continuous support and my siblings (Angah & Ijah) for the makeup haha.

Let's keep on praying, may this Baitul Muslim will always be blessed by the Almighty, granted with awesome children, and together till Jannah, aaminn insyaAllah.

Funny fact, Ustaz Jaslan (the jurunikah) told us not to upload any photos on social media that look like we were not following the current SOP such as not wearing mask, close gathering with non-family members, etc. He asked us to upload those photos in the next three years hahahah.

Picture with Umi & Ayah before my husband & I drove back to KL to start work (Wednesday).
Got to be with them for only one day (Tuesday), since they will fly back to Iran on Saturday

Okay, that's all for now insyaAllah. The first post of 2021 😂

By the way, COVID19 cases today (28/5/2021) is the highest so far, 8,290 cases! and I had my first PCR swab test today, result will come out either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Hoping for a negative result 😌

May Allah protect us, our families, our colleagues and the people close to us from this disease aaminn..
